Ingolf's Kneipe (German Restaurant & Bar) | Tanjung Bungah

Today after the Bank Negara Seminar, we went to have lunch in Ingolf's Kneipe German Restaurant and Bar. I having been planing to visit this shop since introduced by CH. I never taste before German food, so excited after all. I called for reservation yesterday because heard a lot about the bad services and ignorance customers get for not phoning in for reservations. So we decided to play safe by call for reservation.

There have been a lot of people dine in by the time we reach there about 1pm. We walked into the restaurant, indeed like comment by bloggers, the waiters there ignored us although they see us coming. Okay, that was fine. So I just approached them saying we had reservation under my name. We get our seat at last with our menu served. We order the meal that we wanted and not very long our meal are served. The service there was okay, better than my expectation.

Back to the food, the menu they gave us is the lunch menu, different from the dinner menu I think. The prices were far more different than I read on the blogs. So I found out that the prices were lower and potion of the meal were also smaller compare to the dinner one.

So I order "A Vealsausage with homemade mushroom sauce serve with hashed brown potatoes and salad garnish"-RM12.80. All dishes from the menu are included a glass of ice lemon tea. The salad garnish was a lot for every dish, for those who do not like vegetables you may not like this. All the prices shown on the menu are fixed price too which mean we do not need to pay extra service charge and government tax. Good for students like us.

This is "One Piece of Tender Pork chop served with black pepper corn sauce, French fries, grilled tomotoes and salad garnish"-RM12.80.

This is " One Country sausage served with sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and mustard"-RM12.80. The mustard was very bitter and very strong smell. Maybe some may not like the taste.

Anyway, the environment was comfortable and the food was not bad. I like the dish that I ordered. The mushroom sauce is very nice, i like the taste. From my understanding for those who did not make reservation will be place at the bar table, but if the bar table is full on the day, you will have to come back next time or make a reservation for the next day. So place a reservation before you go!! I will sure go back next time to try on different dishes.
