Sate Kajang Haji Samuri | Kajang

After a long drive to Semenyih, we stopped at Kajang to have our lunch. Sate Kajang Haji Samuri is the place we choose to have Satay which Kajang is famous for. I believe everyone is very familiar with this restaurant as it has 15 branches around Selangor and Klang Valley.

There is two sections of the restaurant, you can either choose to sit at the non-smoking area and smoking area. For me, I will choose the non-smoking area where there is air-conditional.

All orders are make at the counter near the smoking area where it is very obvious seen once you walk into the restaurant. At first you need to choose a table to be seated and take note of the table number before you order. The waitress at the counter will need your table number upon ordering so that they could bring the food to your table.

That day, many of the items listed in the menu are not available. For example, sate fish, ice kacang, ketupat and many more. Other than just ordering the Satay, we do ordered other food like the Kueh Teow goreng and nasi goreng as eating sates can't really fulfilled our stomach. **big eater**
Kueh Teow Goreng-RM 3.50
I never expect much about typical malay Keuh Teow Goreng after staying in the Uni hostel for 3 years. You just simply can not compare our Chinese Char Kueh Teow to this Malay Keuh Teow Goreng. Malay Keuh Teow Goreng does not have those fragrance smell and it is more sticky like we always had trouble cooking our own Char Keuh Teow at home.

Nasi Ayam Goreng-RM 4.50
Looking at the photo above, I believe that you do not have the excitement of trying this. Fried rice with very small piece of chicken. Fried rice with only pieces of egg and chilli flakes which is tasteless just bring down our appetite.
Chicken Satay-RM 0.60 per stick
The famous of all the "Satay". We really looking forward to the satay and it is indeed didn't let us down. The Satay was very big potion than those I bought before, plus it does not contain those oily fats. It is the girls' favourite for not seeing the oily pesky fats in the satay. However, if they can just BBQ it for a longer time it would be much better as it is not fragrance enough. The peanut gravy for the satay is splendid. The gravy is thick with lots of peanuts, every bites are peanuts, peanuts and peanuts and also come with a bowl of sambal.

Nasi Impit (per plate)- RM1.30
We were planing to order Ketupat but it was not sold that day so instead we order the Nasi Impit which is the alternative to Ketupat. It is the perfect match with the Satay and the Peanut Sauce. Must order together with the Satay.
