Mom was meeting her friends and I tagged along since they are visiting a new place for food. Food! How can I not be there? So I was tagged along to meet her friends at Kota Damansara. It is located at The Strand which is known as Encorp Strand, probably everyone knows about it.
The place was quite nice and it looks like fine dining setting. The place was quiet when we arrived there around 1.30pm. I guess there will be crowd at night. That is why my mom's friend recommended here since they are having 50% discounts for selected food during lunch hour only.
Only 3 items in the menu are 50% discounts, so we ordered all of them each to share since two of mom's friends are on diet. We (Mom and I) will do the eating. :) I guess I was lucky I wasn't in strict diet for the moment.
Chicken Cabonara-RM23.90
Spaghetti with chicken in cream cheese sauce
This dish is used to be "Spaghetti with smoked duck in cream cheese sauce", they have replace the duck to chicken now. I guess duck meat is more expensive. The taste was not bad, very creamy with a few pieces of chicken meat. The potion was not very big, just enough for 1 person.
Penne Chicken-RM23.90
Pasta tossed with chicken fillet in a mildly spiced Tomato reduction.
The tomato paste taste very nice but the pasta were a bit tough. Just a bit disappointed with the pasta.
Green Curry Chicken-RM21.90
Thai Styled Green Curry Chicken served with white rice.
Totally a disaster. The green curry do not taste like curry at all. Tasteless and I didn't know what am I eating. Just very bad, they really need improvement in this, at least find someone who knows how to cook this dish. It will really give a bad reputation to the business.
